Monthly Community Update from Sgt Wilson – August 2026

I hope this message finds you well. This is a quick update to let you know about some of the things the team have done over the last month. 

🔍 Local Priorities 

Our current focus areas include:

The team have been supporting response over the last month due to high demand. However, we have continued to patrol key areas to try to tackle the issues that are occurring on the 4 wards. The team have issued some neighbours with community protection warnings and community resolutions. They have conducted stop searches, vehicle checks and visited local businesses to discuss any issues. 

🤝 Partnership Working

The team have conducted joint visits with Citizen housing to investigate potential cuckooing and we've come together to share information to help each other resolve problems that some of our residents are having. 

The team also assisted trading standards with a warrant for counterfeit goods where one person was arrested for possession of class B drugs.
